Hello!                                                     

I am a single Christian professional woman and I am so happy that you seek a loving person to raise and nurture your child. I pray that God will give you peace as you make this decision. Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Texas by wonderful parents that have been very loving and supportive to me. I also have an older brother. We are a very close family and spend a lot of time together and still meet on a daily basis for family meals. My family is very important to me and they will play a big part in the life of any child that is placed in my care. I had a wonderful childhood and having an older brother, I grew up a little bit of a tomboy. We played outside with our neighborhood friends most of the day and just had the best time. We took and still take family vacations together. We love going to concerts and I have had the privilege of meeting my two favorite performers, Barbara Mandrell and Louise Mandrell and have attended many of their shows. My family loves the Mandrells also and attended most of their shows with me.

In junior high and high school, I was involved in band; I played alto saxophone and in Future Farmers of America (FFA), raising a steer and a lamb. After high school, I went to college and got a degree in Nursing and have been an RN for 25 years. I worked with children for 22 years as a Pediatric Nurse and I am currently working in a hospital day surgery unit.
My family and I attend church weekly and are involved in church activities. My faith is very important to my family and me. I will raise the child that I am entrusted with in a Christian home. I am a very tenderhearted, friendly, kind, hard-working, honest, reliable, caring and compassionate person. I love gardening, bike riding, and feeding and watching wildlife. I live in a nice quiet neighborhood that is one block away from a park, elementary school and a middle school. My home is a single story with approximately 1660 square feet of living space.

My floor plan includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, formal and informal dining rooms, living room, family room and a large backyard. My backyard has a large tree that shades half the yard and I feed the birds, hummingbirds and squirrels that frequent my yard. Several of the squirrels will feed out of my hand.

We will spend lots of time in the backyard playing and walking to the park and of course, lots of time with my family. My parents have a nice house with a half acre yard, so there is plenty of room to run and play.

I also love animals and have a lovely little Sheltie dog that lives with my parents because he just adores my father. I also have a hamster that is very friendly and tame and she just loves to be in her wheel.

I love children and they have always been a major part of my life. I an looking to adopt because I am unable to have children on my own and I want to start my family through adoption. I have cousins who are adopted and they are all loved and precious members of our family. The child I bring into our family will always know he/she is adopted and loved very much. I promise to raise any child I adopt with love, values, faith and a love for life.
